Open Bolt Typhoon – Palmers Pursuit Shop

Here is a video of the previous Palmers Pursuit Shop Typhoon that I posted yesterday and how it operates. It was a open bolt prototype made by Craig years ago as sort of a proof of concept that it could be done. It works fine, but it does have problems with velocity at slower rates of fire if I remember correctly. The Open Bolt Typhoon!

Tim at Paintball Tek recorded of Craig Palmer’s open bolt Typhoon. When we were visiting Palmers Pursuit Shop in late July to record some videos with Glenn.

Craig wrote about this Typhoon: “[The serial is] 1219 and [was built] around 96

I think it was an older body I grabbed to test on.  It still has a sear, its activated by the bolt rather than the trigger and everything happens in reverse. Its more like full pneumatic trigger. I like to think of it as an open bolt typhoon.  P1218 was built early 95.”

I’ll have a video of this on youtube eventually when I find the footage I recorded.
