Red Dot and Scopes were used in paintball from nearly the beginning of the game but Armson’s ocular sites probably gained popularity in the mid 90 (94/95) when the Ironmen and many other teams started using them on their cockers. I’m probably 95/96 Bob Long’s Shop Delta (likely through) Dirk Gadberry offered Armson sights specifically cut into cocker bodies so they sat lower. Later someone (likely Brahim) at OTP was doing the same cut on Southern California is ironmen Guns.
